Jono has never really won too many friends in this game and he'd be the first to admit it. He'd also say that he doesn't give a f#@k about that lol. Credit where it's due though (we should be able to agree on this), he's one of, if not the best to ever play this game. He's won more gold ball leagues than anyone else as well as more tournament finals than anyone else well in to the 200's. I've know him since 2022 when we were at Spuitpoep together and both went on to become leaders there in their early days of being the #1 guild. He's always been a good team man putting his guild before his own personal gain...as well as being an all round pain in the arse.

Retirements around here are a dime a dozen so hopefully yours is short lived Jono. It's been a pleasure my friend and this place won't be the same without you

Cheers lads. The gameplay is now terrible and the match fixers were never banned are the main reasons. I’ve carried on despite not spending for 20 seasons as the team mates were the best ever. But when I couldn’t defeat that useless turd Falkland Sound in gvg, that just shows how the game has gone. Keep the cheats off no 1 lads.

Will miss you Jono. I am a bit biased but in my opinion you were the best. Thanks for your help and advice over the years. You may not win a popularity contest in this game but your record as a player is 2nd to nobody. You called out the cheats, yet you were the bad guy. You only wanted a level playing field and don't suffer fools. Let's see how long this retirement lasts. Hopefully the game will improve and you'll be back, but this time I have my doubts.
